Between 1920 and 1932, Abdul Aziz bin-Saud conquers most of the Arabian Peninsula and founded Saudi Arabia of which he becomes king. If oil made Saudi Arabia a rich kingdom, if the was the vehicle of its influence on the Islamic world, it was the war that created it. Thanks to this oil supply, the Saudi army now has the world's third military budget, ahead of France, Great Britain or Russia.
